Practice
My best work happens before and around the code: scoping what should actually be built, earning stakeholder buy-in, and guiding the process and deliverables that keep ten people pointed the same way through execution and support.
I’ve spent the last four years shipping web projects end-to-end — freelance, then two agencies, most recently as a studio CTO while staying hands-on in the day-to-day.
Underneath it is a multidisciplinary design education from the University of Utah, by way of some mechanical engineering — an engineer’s discipline and a designer’s consideration, aimed at the same problem.
